Taylor Momsen hails from St. Louis Missouri and is an American model, singer-songwriter and actress. Her most famous work is her character on the CW television show Gossip Girl as Jenny Humphrey and as lead singer of The Pretty Reckless. Her music has been featured on movies and TV shows like How to Be Single, Going the Distance and Two and a Half Men. Taylor Momsen's younger sibling Sloane Momsen also works as an actress. Taylor Momsen was a student at the Center of Creative Arts, St. Louis. Her first professional role was in a Shake 'n Bake commercial that aired nationally at age three. Momsen went on a career hiatus over three years, before being selected as the main character in Misconceptions which is a WB TV series. Momsen was also in Saving Shiloh the 2006 film. Momsen was in the top three for Hannah Montana, but Miley won the role.
