Lis Wiehl (born August 19, 1959) is an American author, and former legal analyst for Fox News.
She is adjunct professor of Law, New York Law School. Prior to that, she was an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Washington Law School. She's also provided legal comments on Bill O'Reilly's Radio Factual and National Public Radio. She has a weekly appearance in The O'Reilly Factor. The Kelly File with Megyn Kelly. Lou Dobbs this evening. The Imus morning show. It's the Legal Lis Radio Show and Wiehl of Justice Podcast.
Wiehl was a graduate of West Valley High School, Yakima. Her birthplace was in Yakima. She earned a bachelor's degree from Barnard College in 1983, she earned a master of Arts in Literature at the University of Queensland in 1985, and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor at the US Attorney's Office. The correspondent was a lawyer on NPR's All Things Considered. She served as "deputy chief investigative attorney for Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee" during Clinton's imposition. Her time at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle began in 1995 to 2001. She was the director of the school's Trial Advocacy Program. Between 2001 and 2017, Wiehl worked as a legal analyst for Fox News.
