Sharp studied clarinet, keyboard as well as cello at the Hochstein School of Music in Rochester. The passion she had for theatre in school inspired her to enroll at The Boston Conservatory, where she received a scholarship. Cum Laude graduated with a B.F.A. Sharp began her career in the stage world after graduation from the Conservatory. Sharp appeared in the Broadway National Tour of Carousel. Other theatre productions include: Abyssinia, Aida, Thunder Knockin' Jitney, The Producers, Big Street, Suburb and Joe Turner's Come and Gone, in which Sharp was a co-reader with writer August Wilson himself. Sharp has other ideas in the works as well as her work for the stage and screen. A complete recording is currently being planned. Sharp also performs. Sharp is a fitness enthusiast and always in top fitness by learning Krav Maga and boxing. Sharp lives with her spouse and two children in Los Angeles.
